Basic Gate: A Simple Yet Functional Gate

Hello everyone, I'm Marco from Fenceshop. Today we present our second model of mass-produced gates: the basic model gate. This gate is affordable yet functional and suitable for various needs, whether for pedestrian or vehicular passage.

Technical Features

The basic model gate is available in various widths and heights to suit different uses:

  • Sizes: Pedestrian (1 meter, 1.5 meters, and 2 meters) and Vehicular with 2 leaves (3 meters and 4 meters).
  • Available heights: 1.5 meters, 1.75 meters, and 2 meters.
  • Perimeter structure: 40x40x2 mm boxed sections for vertical posts and 40x15x2 mm for horizontal posts.
  • Internal filling: Welded mesh with 50x100 mm 4 mm wire mesh, welded on the front of the gate.
  • Posts: Boxed sections, sized 50x50, 60x60, 80x80 mm with a thickness of 2 mm, extended by 50 cm to be cemented.

For posts of 50x50 and 60x60 mm, there are plates available for bolting, making installation easier. Simply cut the post, insert the plates, and bolt the gate.

Distinctive Features

An important feature of the basic model gate is the full-height round bar on the posts, which allows the mesh to be tied in an orderly and clean manner. Additionally, there is a small bracket with a hole to attach the brace arm.

The gate hinges are adjustable, allowing for an adjustment of about 3-4 cm. This is very useful for adjusting the gate after installation. The opening direction is seen from the outside and pushes towards the right. The gate is equipped with a lock with a key and handle, and has black plastic caps on the frame and posts.

Surface Treatment and Color

The basic model gate is powder-coated with polyester and oven-baked in the classic green RAL6500 color. This treatment ensures good resistance to weather conditions and a long lifespan.

Uses and Installation

We recommend preparing everything needed and assembling the gate on the ground before installation. Our gates are ready to use: just assemble the handle and one screw. Once the hinges are mounted, position the gate in the correct place, shim it with wooden wedges or other spacers, and cement it.
