How much does a fence cost? Let's look at the 10 main cases...

Hello everyone, I'm Marco from Fenceshop, and today we'll talk about how much a fence costs. First of all, let's make a premise: the question "How much does a fence cost?" might seem generic and difficult to answer, but I understand that those who are not in the business need to have a rough idea of the costs. So, in this video, we will try to provide examples of different fence scenarios, analyzing 10 main types with indicative prices. It is important to note that these prices are referring to the end of 2019 and could vary over time. Do not take them literally, but use them as a general reference.

1. Plastic mesh and garden sticks

This is the most economical solution, ideal for closing small areas or for pets. With a height of one meter, the cost is about 3-5 euros per linear meter.

2. Mesh with T-posts and chain link mesh with diamond pattern

This type involves a mesh with classic T-posts and a chain link mesh with diamonds. With a height of one and a half meters, the price ranges from 8-10 euros per linear meter.

3. Welded mesh rolls with T-posts

Here we are talking about a welded mesh roll with classic T-posts. Again, with a height of one and a half meters, the cost varies from 10 to 12 euros per linear meter.

4. Economical modular panel fence

This fence is composed of lightweight modular panels, including both wires and posts. At one and a half meters high and to be anchored, it costs around 25-30 euros per linear meter.

5. Medium-sturdy modular panel fence

This solution uses panels with 5 mm wires, like the classic galvanized grid or bear grill type. For a fence one and a half meters high and to be anchored, the cost is about 30-40 euros per linear meter.

6. Wrought iron fence

Wrought iron fences include features like solid rods and small decorations. Treated, galvanized, and painted, these fences cost around 40-50 euros per square meter.

7. Regulation-compliant sports facilities fence

These fences conform to legal standards for pressure resistance and have a height of about 2.25 meters. The cost is around 50-60 euros per linear meter.

8. Fence for soccer and futsal fields

Specific for sports facilities, these fences cost about 10-12 euros per square meter for mid-high quality work.

9. Gates

Gates are an integral part of a fence. A pedestrian gate one meter by two costs around 350 euros, while a four-meter by two double-leaf driveway gate costs around 750 euros. These prices are indicative.

10. Installation

Installation is highly variable and depends on the area, difficulty, meters, and type of terrain. For this reason, we can't provide a precise price in this video. We invite you to contact us for specific information.

All the mentioned prices include VAT and should be taken with caution. If you have found different prices, higher or lower, leave a comment with your experience.
