Inclined Extensions for Fence Posts

Technical Characteristics of the Inclined Extensions

These accessories are made of iron, with a folded sheet metal of 2.5 mm thickness. The surface is treated with green polyester powder coating RAL6500, which is the classic color of fences. Each extension is supplied with two 8 mm galvanized bolts and flanged nuts necessary for attachment. The dimensions of the extension are as follows:

  • Part to be inserted into the post: 15 cm
  • 45-degree inclined extension: 50 cm

It's important to note that these extensions are only suitable for posts with a section of T 35x35 mm and not for those of 30x30 mm. Each extension has three holes with a diameter of 9 mm for the passage of wires and is available with the bend inward or outward.

Using the Inclined Extensions

These accessories are very easy to use and are applied to the top of the post. The extension is simply inserted into the upper part of the post, and the supplied bolts are used to fasten it securely. This system was designed by Vortek to meet the needs of many customers who wish to raise the fence to prevent dogs or cats from climbing over it. The 45-degree bend creates an effective anti-climb barrier on traditional fences.

Advantages of the Inclined Extensions

Even if your posts are not perfectly aligned in height, you can adjust the height by a few centimeters, going up and down, and then tighten the nut to secure the extension. Once fixed, the extension will remain firm, and you can use it to tension wires, barbed wires, or add a mesh above.

Types of Bends: Inward and Outward

The extensions are available in two versions: with a bend inward or outward. The outward bend is positioned so that the extension bends outward from the fence, while the inward bend is positioned so that it bends inward.
