Rude Behaviors in Fencing

Hello everyone, we are the Fenceshop team. Today we want to share with you a brief freestyle video where we list five behaviors that we find really rude. Ready? Let's begin!

1. Not Saying Hello

One of the things that irritates us the most is when we receive emails or social media messages without a greeting. Imagine getting a message that says: "I need to build a fence, how do I...". A simple "Hello" or "Good morning" is not hard to add and represents a sign of good manners. So, please start with a greeting and introduce yourself. For example: "Hello, my name is John Doe and I need this, can you give me some advice?". It's not difficult, right?

2. The Rush

Another behavior we find annoying is the rush. How many times do we hear: "Yes, but I need it immediately". Well, we are not the only ones who have to meet your urgent needs. Other customers have their own urgencies too, so let's try to be a bit patient.

3. The Lack of Punctuality

Lack of punctuality is another classic. How many times do we go to a site inspection with an appointment at 9, and at 9:10 or 9:15 we are still waiting. Our time is as valuable as yours, so let's try to stick to the agreed times.

4. Asking for a Discount before Knowing the Price

Another irritating behavior is asking for a discount even before knowing the price. It's a classic. "Yes, I need to build the fence, but give me a discount". Before asking for a discount, let's try to understand what the actual price of the service or product is.

5. Late Payments

Last but not least, is late payments or, even worse, non-payments. It's a common problem when people, for their own reasons, right or wrong, turn their financial issues into our problems. Why should your problem become ours? And often, those who behave this way are large companies. These companies give us important jobs and ask us to prepare extensive documentation in very short times. But when it comes to paying for the work done, suddenly it's no longer urgent.

These are the five behaviors that we find really rude. We hope this venting session is useful to you and can improve our collaboration. Now, tell us yours. What behaviors can't you stand?

Thanks for listening to us. Regards from the Fenceshop team!
