Did you know that there is a specific mesh for drying food? Let's see it in this video! Hello everyone, we are the Fenceshop team, the e-commerce of Rete Plastic. Is there a mesh for drying food? Yes, there is. And we are here to tell you about it. Here it is, can you see it? It is a plastic mesh with particular characteristics that we will now discuss.

Technical Characteristics of the Mesh

Before telling you more about this mesh, let's start with a brief overview of its technical characteristics:

  • Material: HDPE (high-density polyethylene) produced from high-quality, non-toxic recycled polymers
  • Mesh size: 10x10 mm
  • Upper and lower reinforced and non-cutting edging

Foods Suitable for Drying with Food Net

Let's now look at some examples of plants and fruits that can be dried with this mesh:

  • Fruits: bananas, persimmons, apricots, kiwis, figs, apples, pears, cherries, pineapples, plums, peaches, and anise
  • Vegetables: tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, zucchinis, spinach, potatoes, pumpkins, cabbages, and kale
