Hello everyone, I'm Marco from Fenceshop, the e-commerce of Rete Plastic. Today I want to talk to you about an electric welded mesh that represents an economical yet functional solution for your fence needs. Let's discover together its technical characteristics and the most suitable uses.

Technical Characteristics

The electric welded meshes mainly differ in the size of the mesh and the wire. In this case, the mesh we are presenting is galvanized and has a lightened wire with a diameter of 1.7 mm, compared to the standard 2 mm. This choice allows to reduce the weight and cost, making the mesh more competitive in the market.

The mesh has a size of 5 x 7.5 cm, a classic for electric welded meshes used for fences. The galvanization is done before welding, meaning that each point where the wires intersect could be a potential rust point. However, this does not compromise the functionality of the mesh.

The rolls are available in lengths of 25 meters, and we do not offer cutting on this mesh to keep the price economical. Available heights are 1 meter, 1.20 meters, 1.50 meters, 1.80 meters, and 2 meters.

Uses of the Mesh

This mesh is ideal for agricultural uses, construction, and even as reinforcement for floors or walls. Its lightness makes it easy to lay, although care must be taken not to deform it too much, especially in greater heights like 2 meters.
