The Plastic Hexagonal Mesh

Hello everyone, I'm Marco from Fenceshop. Today we present the plastic hexagonal mesh, an excellent product in our sector. This mesh is a versatile and reliable solution, used for various purposes over the years. Let's discover it together!

Technical Features

The plastic hexagonal mesh is made of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) with top-quality, non-toxic, and recycled polymers. The hexagonal meshes have dimensions of about 30x30 mm and the mesh is UV-stabilized, ensuring a 10-year lifespan. Available colors are classic green and silver gray. Heights vary based on the color: 50 cm, 80 cm, 100 cm, and 120 cm. Roll sizes can be 5, 30, or 50 meters, and in our warehouse, we also offer a per meter cutting service.

Uses of the Plastic Hexagonal Mesh

This mesh is particularly appreciated for several uses:

  • Balconies: Ideal for preventing objects or small animals from falling, especially for those with children.
  • Fences: Perfect for gates and fences to prevent small animals from getting out or coming in.
  • Area Delimitation: Great for delimiting small zones in the garden, up to a height of 1 meter or 1.20 meters, using wooden posts or iron rods.
Installation

The plastic hexagonal mesh is easy to install. Thanks to its lightness and flexibility, it can be easily cut with scissors and shaped as needed. To fix it, we recommend using quality fix-ties, like those from Tenax, UV-stabilized, or the classic green binding wire. The mesh should be slightly stretched during installation to ensure good holding, and the smooth, non-sharp edges help maintain tension and overall robustness.

Personal Experience

I remember seeing this mesh for the first time about 30 years ago when I was just a child. I played hide and seek in the warehouse and hid near these rolls of mesh. Since then, the mesh has remained practically the same, a reliable and durable product that has stood the test of time.
