Recommended applications

This Cast iron EU 58 compliant hot formed square anchor plate can be used for just about anything; drilled as needed or welded to medium/heavy duty gate posts for swing or sliding gates and or poles of various thicknesses and lengths and/or sunk into cement for an extra strong anchor. Being as this is untreated iron it can be welded, filed or cut but will also rust very easily if exposed to the rain or moisture. We recommend painting it with synthetic or  nitro paint with a roller, air gun or paint brush as soon as you have finished creating whatever it is that you want to create Make sure you paint the back of the plate before fixing to a wall or paving to avoid unsightly rust runs.
