Lexan polycarbonate is an exclusive polymer combining optimum mechanical, optical and thermal properties. When extruded in multi-wall sheet form these properties make it an ideal solution for a wide range of glazing applications such as cladding and façades of residences, commercial buildings and greenhouses, coverings for solariums and swimming pools, roofing for shopping centres, windows, doors, carports, sky-lights and many more. Thicknesses of 4.5 and 6 mm are particularly suited to glazing or small to medium sized windows whereas the 10 mm thickness is ideal for shelters, greenhouses and medium to large coverings. This material is also particularly easy to manage, ca be cut with a normal saw and/or cutter and finished as if it were wood with a file and/or sandpaper. Lexan Thermoclear multiwall polycarbonate sheets have transparent UV protection on both sides. Please note that we use a circular saw to cut whole sheets with a tolerance of +/- 2/3 mm.
